The People’s Man (Welcome to Dizzyland)
Someone slipped a disc
Someone slipped a Mickey and
Now we dance the Disco Duck
In Donald Trump’s Electric Golden Dizzyland
Someone made a buck
Someone made a killing and
Now we duck and cover like
Monkey’s lobbing bombs at the Captain and Ol’ Gilligan
Someone pulled the tricks
Someone played the victim and
Now we find X leaned right
Is just a crooked plus (or a sick untwisted ampersand)
Someone pulled ‘the Switch’
Someone wooled the sheeple and
Now we confuse Technicolor-smooth cartoons
For what we like to call the Universal People’s Man.
