The Lonely Arts

Am I lazy or distracted?
Neither, I’m engaged.
I find my mind
writing all the time
even with no sweet black ink
and paper page.

All the words to re-arrange:
to share my thoughts with you.
Lovely languages so limited
so what’s a simple poet do?

Will quantity breed quality?
Could volume reveal brilliance?
Could you find The Truth (if you sifted through)?
Would I have to write a milliance?

So be it, Amen! I’ll do it again
and again and again
until my page turns blank.
And if these words, my lonely Art,
have been heard by you (your Heart)
well, then all that’s left to say is,
'Thanks.'
