Purr Bliss  

I identify
as a cat
when me and my Santino
stretch out on our backs
and we fade into the purr
that leads us into prayer,
and our thoughts begin to blur
until there’s nothing there...
and just like that
   we disappear - 
	lost in the love
	    that we’ve found here.

Some search for church
and God’s who hide,
for they’ve not heard
the groany sighs
of little saints
stretching wide
then curling in
to your side.
