Kitty Tripper (An Apology to Paloma)
Oh, ho, ho, Righteous Man
where’s your patience now?
You talk so loud and preach of Love
but do you know the fuck how?
Just like that a little cat
gets the better of your temper?
You give love and you want it back
but it seems you don’t remember:
Love is not for taking
and you’ve got no right to ask.
How dare you test that sacred trust.
Your ugly ego needs a slap.
Well, lookee here, Preacher Man,
looks like we got a sinner.
You think your Mister Master
but you act like a beginner.
Thirty-three is lots of steps,
at the top awaits the crown...
but you got trippy on a kitty
and with that you tumble down.
What have we here, Man of God,
forgotten what is written?
There is no man above another -
much less a perfect kitten.
