    Just Because (The Art of Now)

    Beauty for the sake of Beauty,
    For the Holy Audience of one;
    What shall I make in the name of Love
    Because I can and just because?

    I don’t need a reason
    To bleed the ink away,
    Love is still in season
    So Love shall have its say.

    Who Am I to stop it?
    What Am I, a God?
    Tell me, my sweet Prophet,
    Do you find it odd

    That Thou Art and Art Though
    The Creator of the Art of Now
    Formed with tools made of thoughts
    So that Thou begets what Thou begot?

    Maybe its just me, we’ll see...
    When it’s all said and done
    I’ll either share my Art with the dark
    Or with the morning Sun.

    It all depends on how it ends
    Which comes down to the timing.
    It’s hard to know how far to go
    When you find your groove for rhyming.

    Of course I could write a tragedy filled with epic drama
    Or it may be a comedy if I misplace the comma.

    The Gods may frown, smile, or smirk
    As they do their final judging
    But at least I’ve shown my work
    - and in my work, my Loving.
