Only My Devil Knows

Don’t get me started
on my list of complaints.
It starts with the villains
and ends with the Saints.

I decorate my Devils
in a million different dresses;
Fuel for Holy Gossip -
“Can you believe what he confesses?!”

But I pay no Mind, I don’t ask why
or for whom that Old Bell tolls.
But instead: Who put the gun
to the head of Love?

Only my Devil knows.
