Each night I end my day by pouring my thoughts onto paper.

It’s not always pretty, it’s never polished, and it’s rarely ever ‘finished’ – actually, it might not even be poetry at all…maybe it’s just wandering ideas and scattered phrases strung together as I watch the moon come and go. Either way, I present the raw poetry I wrote last night and the nights before:

Listen

Shhh, Shhh, Shhh, Shhh, Shhh...

Quiet and Silence
Are not the same thing.
One is void of noise
The other always sings.

Listen for the lessons
Whispered (no words).
Only in Silence
Does God's voice emerge.
