Out from the Inside

Why is the eye called the eye?
What does it mean for one to see?
Could it be I am the eye
And the world is viewed only through me?
	Is it selfish to think
        that I could be we
	Or you could be mine? Why
        then we’d be free!
Think of the Glory
If we shared the eye
That only saw beauty
Out from inside.
                We’d look far and wide
                And see Love reflected
                It’d be no surprise,
                It’s what we expected.
	Let’s prove it’s true:
	That me is just you;
	That God is alive
	In our shared I.
