Raw Poetry by Rev. Shakes Spear
Pitchforks and Pixels (Read the Fine Print) I don’t believe in Devil worship As a sacred ritual or rite. A billion do it by the minute Hungry brains eating bytes. No act of conscious is required It makes its way down to subs. Where it floods its muck and mire To the level right above. And it soaks into the conscious where it takes control of its wants it cannot stop rhymes or reasons no respect for time or seasons it just keeps keeping on doing as it pleases. You’ve joined the Devil’s fan club And agreed to all his terms. And when your body gets done dying Your Soul alone is his to burn. 2-24-24
