Devils Get Bored

The mouth of deception will never surprise you
It makes no exception for those that it lies to
Lipstick and lullabies may be distracting
But what is True is always what’s lacking

The point of the Devil is to hypnotize you
To forget yourself and unrealize you

You’re constant complaint of demons attacking
Doesn’t ring true with such god-awful acting
You accepted the role and play your part well
You’ve made a nice bed in your corner of Hell

Don’t think you’re special, you just fit the suit
Devils get bored, and you’re halfway cute

So they dress you up in lies and deceit
Although most say a month, I bet in less than a week
They’ll have you in stitches with the jokes that they pull
Like draining you empty while you call it full

They’ll trade you gold trinkets for all of your trust
Instead of affection, they’ll drown you in lust

You’ll swim in pure pleasure, soaking the flesh
Swallowing sin until Nothing's left

They’ll pick their teeth with the bones of your stew
All for the lies you chose over Truth.
