Raw Poetry by Rev. Shakes Spear
Air of Gravity
Only the scandalous can handle this sheer depravity.
There’s an air of gravity that’s bringing this whole scene down.
They’re thick as thieves, tricks up their sleeves; oh, they’re scheming...
While you’re still dreaming with your head up in the clouds.

Analysis
Just for fun – here is an ‘auto-generated excerpt’ (AI analysis) of this poem:
“Rev. Shakes Spear’s poem “Air of Gravity” delves into the themes of corruption and a metaphorically heavy atmosphere that deteriorates human connections. It portrays the cunning and deceitful characters involved in nefarious schemes, highlighting their contrast to the innocent dreamers who remain unaware, their heads metaphorically in the clouds. The title hints at a pervasive force that exerts a negative, downward pull on the ambiance, imbuing the scene with a sense of foreboding and the relentless inescapability of the corruption it depicts.”
Hmmm…I wonder if that’s what I meant when I wrote it. What do you think?
