If a Thought Is a Thing (Some Thoughts on Thoughts)
Where do your thoughts go
when you don’t have a brain to think them?
What of your Mind, then, has to do with your thoughts?
Is a thought really just a feeling?
Then what is a feeling with no body to feel?
Is a feeling a vibration, just energy fluxing,
or is it energy harnessed, directed?
What about Love?
Is it just energy gathered and then
pushed this way and that; held for a moment
and dissipated, increased, or moved toward another?
Is life Simple
or Complicated?
Is it really 1 + 1 = 3?
Or is there more to it than that?
Is it all just simple math?
If a thought is a thing
a thing is a thought.
What happens to things
I thought and forgot?
Where do they go?
What do they know?
If I don’t remember them
do they remember themselves?
Are they self-aware
or just there...
waiting to be remembered?
If they are re-thought
with no recollection of being pre-thought
are they new thoughts, or memories?
If I don’t remember them, do they disappear or do they go
back into the pool to be thought again by another?
What if they forget, too?
Can two of us pick the same thought
and have it mean the same thing?
Please tell me...
what
do
you
think of
thoughts?
