Caught In a Dream
This is simply happening in your mind;
In my mind.
We are sharing the dream;
Dreaming together
Not realizing this is a dream,
And yet we desperately desire
To somehow wake.
Oh, God, have mercy; Let me awake!
Open my eyes
With the hard slap of truth.
Let me fall in Love
And stay there forever.
